After 55 unforgettable years serving riders, hunters, campers, and families across Mid-Michigan, Rocky’s Great Outdoors will be closing its doors.

This isn’t just a store closing — it’s the closing of a chapter that has meant the world to us.

For more than five decades, Rocky’s has been a gathering place for the communities of Flint and Grand Blanc — a place where first bikes were brought, hunting traditions were passed down, and customers became lifelong friends. From the beginning, Rocky Roll built the business around one simple idea: take care of people first. That spirit never changed.

When Rocky passed away 20 months ago, the team pulled together and kept serving the community the only way they knew how — with heart, honesty, and hard work. But after long and difficult conversations with the family and staff, we’ve made the decision to close the store and celebrate the legacy Rocky built rather than slowly wind it down.

To help manage the transition, Liquid Asset Partners of Grand Rapids will assist with a 12-week store closing sale.
